Boise State rarely is a home underdog on the Smurf Turf. In fact, the Broncos have not been an underdog at Albertsons Stadium since September 2001. Since then, Boise State is 105-6 SU at home. So, the team has been favored at home in 111 consecutive games.
The Broncos are still pretty good, sitting at No. 34 in S&P+. But Boise State got crushed at Oklahoma State, which we now know isn't a good team. It also lost at home to San Diego State, and played very competitive games against Air Force and BYU the last two weeks.
Meanwhile, after throwing an interception in the end zone late in a 21-14 loss at Minnesota, Fresno State has won seven consecutive games by an average of 27.7 points per win. Wow!
